The most important financial lessons I have learned.

I have been in the financial industry for about 50 years and have picked up a thing or two along the way. I would like to share with you, the one or two most imortant things I have learned.

There is no charge, but I promise that the implementation of concepts will guarantee financial success. If your are interested, there are two things you must do.

1. Please write at the top of a legal pad..."Grant Deed"'

Then, below, enter line by line, listing all of your possessions...everything...Then below, enter all of your children and grandchildren's names.

2. When you have done this, send an email to me at scg0920@gmail.com for an analysis (I don't need to see your list).

RISK 101. A Back to the Basics Primer

by Steve Greene

Like you, I’ve lived through many of the “ups and downs’ and went through the tests and trials that comes with living life on this earth. I have been in the financial business for about 50 years and have learned a thing or two along the way.. The most important financial lesson I ever learned (as well as spiritual), is the simple understanding that God owns all of the earth and all that is within it.
The implications of this are huge and the results of committing this to your heart and acting upon the precepts will result in a fuller and richer life….more that anyone could imagine. The simple, but true, fact here is that everything you have listed on your Grant Deed is not owned by you, but by God who created us all.
I do not intend to “preach” here, and I have one question to ask. When you invest heavily in something, don’t you do research first? Wouldn’t it be great to have an instruction manual to guide you through the risks? Isn’t living here on earth the riskiest investment you’ll ever make? Your Instruction Manual, the Bible, is readily available to you. The instructions are all there…all you’ll ever need. If you “don’t get it”, don’t blame it on the Author.
You responded to a question to learn about the most important financial solution out there.
It is as follows:
1. As stated above, you and I own nothing. We have been given a portion and have been entrusted to take care of this portion while we walk the earth. How well we handle our portion results in the size of future portions (see Matthew 25: 14-30).
2. The best basic investment principle is the law of sowing and reaping. If you don’t understand and/or practice this, you are going nowhere, financially.  Example: You may really, really want to harvest a potato crop, but you plant seeds of corn. You and I know that, no matter how hard you work at it, dream, scheme, pray, plot, plan, you’ll wind up with corn. Seems foolish doesn’t it…yet this is how most people deal with their finances (as well as other areas of their lives).
                        3. Want this guaranteed in writing? Read Malachi 3: 8-12.

The concepts stated above are simple, yet hard to execute. It takes commitment and tenacity, but more importantly, it requires understanding your choices and making a decision. Remember, the situation you are in today (good or bad) is due to the choices you have made in all of your yesterdays, and tomorrow’s situation rests with the choices you make today.
